The Story

Pro-Ject Audio Systems gained fame for its high-quality, audiophile turntables, focusing on simplicity, value materials, and advanced technology. As demand grew for more luxurious models, the company created the Signature Line and collaborated with the Vienna Philharmonics for a special turntable to celebrate their 175th anniversary, using wood and metals from their instruments. Inspired by this design, they introduced The Classic Reference turntable, blending technical precision with luxury. It features the EVO 9 AS HG tonearm, an advanced aluminum platter with TPE damping, and balanced XLR outputs for superior sound quality. The turntable is paired with high-quality RCA and phono cables, ensuring optimal signal transmission.

*The Classic Reference does not include or ship with a cartridge.
