Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono Manual Belt Drive Turntable with Phono Preamp

The T2 Super Phono builds on the successful T1 formula, incorporating numerous audiophile upgrades to set new standards in its price range. It features a larger, CNC-machined plinth for enhanced stability, available in high-quality finishes like High Gloss Black, Satin White, or Walnut. The glass platter is thicker and heavier for zero-resonance, and purpose-built feet isolate the turntable from vibrations. The tonearm is upgraded with a longer, stiff aluminum tube and low-friction bearings, improving accuracy and reducing vibrations. A new spring-based anti-skating mechanism optimizes performance. The motor and drive system, borrowed from the T1, offers precision with a regulated AC motor and electronic speed switching.

A major new feature is the built-in MM phono preamp, improved for longevity and audio performance. The T2 Super Phono comes pre-adjusted with a Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge and includes semi-balanced, low-capacitance phono cables. A dust cover and felt mat are also included, ensuring a complete, high-performance hi-fi system.
