Head Box S2 Digital comes fully equipped to meet the demands of the modern audiophile. It supports playback for PCM files up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD decoding up to quad DSD (DSD256). It also includes five digital filers to adjust the sound based on your preferences. Three digital inputs (USB, coax & optical) ensure compatibility with a variety of digital sources. The coaxial S/PDIF input is optimal for use with a digital transport such as the CD Box DS2 T. All inputs offer support for high-resolution data up to 24bit/192kHz. The USB input offers high-resolution support for files up to PCM 32bit/768kHz and DSD256. Any unwanted noise from the USB path is double-filtered and thus inaudible. The front-seated 1/4″ headphone output delivers clean, precise & musical sonics and the aluminum/steel enclosure effectively isolates the circuitry from interference that could otherwise bleed into playback.
